The results of the stream last night. I managed to complete the color and detail pass and did a few test renders.
An important tip for those using Zbrush; Make use of the flat shader to keep your colors consistent. Assign it to your subtool using the ‘FillObject’ function with ‘M’ enabled on your brush. This sortof ‘frees’ the subtool of any material assignment and you should then be able to switch quickly between your materials while still retaining your color information.
Also in terms of switching, you can quickly get to flat material by dragging the material pallet/ball into your model. =]
Next up, posing expressions and getting those final renders/turntables. Stay tuned.
